The New US$20 bill
A few days ago I received this email from a friend. I probably got it in the first place, because I do not believe in coincidences ... and make no apologies for being the LAST one to get it (if you've already seen it) ... I usually am *chuckle* ...nor that it may be bogus air-brushed magic? - in which case I'd expect you to tell me it was, give me dates, times and proof.
It occurred to me that there may be a few of you who haven't seen it yet ?...
The idea is that you take a new US$20 bill and get creative with your origami skills... fold the picture thus;
Now fold it in half and you get this;
One more fold and you have something quite alarming...
Now flip it all over and be prepared for a blast from the past;
...But wait, there's more ... look at this;
It gets even better!! 9 plus 11 = $20!!
Coincidence?
Well here's the rest of the email... you make up your own mind...(Astrologers amongst you keep in mind that the US is ruled by Gemini, the twins...)...
HISTORY MYSTERY
Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy Huh?

Does GWB work for Wendy's too; I heard that they are the world headquarters for Satanic Square Burger Worshipers, with a secret sauce hand shake, I hear they get fried wendey hear that.
This stuff is truly eerie, cue the music...torch the building, re-cue the explosions, etc . . .

*TIC* Now whilst salient and completely permissible to flirt subtextually, one of the golden rules of orble is that you are not allowed to tease in the literal textual meaning of the word. Do you think some graphic designer got a free ticket to Japan to learn advanced origami skills before designing it, or did they just fly the origami specialist in on the taxpayers behalf?

Snopes is a wonderful site where they fact check those dubious emails that do the rounds, it's very entertaining stuff and so much fun for us sceptics. But there were a number of real coincidences with Kennedy and Lincoln. Enjoy the read!
