Three reasons why.
(1) I have a real life that is waiting. In fact it will wait no longer and is threatening to leave if I don*t join it again.
(2) This was an experiment in virtuality, which probably went on way
too long, anyway.. . and
(3) Orble has declined so much since the Asexual and Homosexual
revolution came to town : who wants to visit here, where the atmosphere
is permanently set to kill or be killed. Dog eat dog. Besides it is no
longer a writers post and that is why I joined to read real writing,
[read and write poetry and discuss literature and REAL Issues in the
world; with ADULTS who can allow me freedom to express my views, without having a picture of myself posted with rude bits added!
Many of you will remember I had a stroke in March, and although this post is gone I will be writing enviroposts for a while because of so many subscribers.
To those who have read and enjoyed my posts over the years, thank you
for your support and encouragements, your comments are all copy and
pasted and will be remembered always.
For Those of you who have my email edress?
It has been a pleasure meeting you all, write to me anytime you like.
A couple of you haven*t got my eddress, I will PM you and pass it on,
just leave a comment to let me know you are interested in continuing to
communicate as ADULTS and not CHILDREN.

I have bookmarked you and will reply by email as well as still leaving comments here and there, I haven't gone completely, I just have to limit my time in this place, that's all. . . but i will still be wafting along the halls of orble here adn there... ghosting (as they say). as time permits. .

Yeah right! I had the original post herewith removed (this is the second posting) with all my personal opinions removed/edited. I am invisible unless I make a comment that doesn't agree with the new crowd, or where the $ are coming in thick and fast. Why would you continue to pour your heart out to those who would trample all your sentiments and finer points underfoot? You*d have to be a lunatic to continue to do so.
As for the vilifaction and sniper attacks on decent bloggers, well I don*t want to be tainted by association by even being here and trying to hold a decent conversation about why gays should go and blog ont heir own homosexual websites and why I think heterosexuals should be left some small place of refuge from their flamboyant parading of all that is offle. I am not homophobic, you'll remember I also censored David too, I just don't like lewd, crude rubbish on what was claims to be a writing site for intelligent people ... little to read on it anymore that could be classed as literature or culture. . . well plenty KULCHA, agreed . . but little real intelligence left.
Pah!

perhaps it`s time to start somewhere new, moderated by a few of the intelligent IOrblers like yourself, where numbers can be kept to a minimum and no vicious, school yard attacks can be virtually strewn across the virtual school yard? there are plenty of places out there that host for free!
this has always been one of my favourite places to read and I`m sad to see it go... but the stress isn`t worth your while.

You got it, who has the time ina real life? Drug addicted, nicotene soaked and maybe even alcohol dazed is all fine and dandy on a friday night, but when the demons come out to play amidst the pages of fine literature and commaraderie with no more intent, other than to rip it to pieces and shred self respecting people to oblivion... then who has the time for such antics from souls no more able to find equinamity than to spell it and truly know its worth.
did I hear you say, a hot cuppa and wine on the beach amidst salty sea spray?
Klicking cameras, smokey insence and views over Sydney Harbour?

It really is a changing time.
I think your blogs are great and the reason I went looking for you is because I wanted something interesting to read.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a stroke in March and I hope that your health has improved.
