Yeah, me too… made it way complicated before I read the answer and thought of the obvious… of course, I’m telling myself it was because my time was limited, at the time. If I had lots of time to spare and therefore been in a calmer frame of mind, I’ve no doubts it would have come to me…*chuckling* that’s what I’m telling myself okay?

Didn't get it--but I did notice that every word on the list has at least one letter that appears a minimum of two times (with one appearing three times and one four times) and most of the words have two letters that appear multiple times.
Too analytical for my own good, I guess! (Or, to put it another way: Can't see the forest for the trees!)

Not to worry, but I don't think it's a problem I also noticed those things...the double-letter thing in particular.. yep, made it way harder than it needed to be too...*chuckle* a lesson for us all..but atleast we girls tried, I noticed it was way too hard for all the boys on orble.. pity they seemed like such a bright bunch at first too..*lol*

Think I'll play it safe and not comment on that last remark! I do find, though, that so often, with these sorts of puzzles, I notice characteristics other than the ones the puzzles' creators are looking for! Oh well, in a sense, I suppose that's a good thing! At least no one can accuse me of not being observant!

Another thing I noticed is that, if it weren't for the word "grammar," all the words in your list would have six letters. Therefore, I suppose one might say: All the words in the list have at least six letters. (It's kind of fun to see how many [different?] similarities we can find, isn't it?)
